The Olympia Washington Kiwanis members and their friends have cost the Washington State taxpayers over $50 million dollars (so far), because of their willful ignorance of long term, merciless and well known, child abuse that occurred at the Olympia Kiwanis Boys Ranch.
October 2006 note: This Olympia Kiwanis stuff is old news. I've left this information on the web, because I like the thought that someone will say to one of these Kiwanis friends or members: "Grandma, (Grandpa), are you still friends with those Olympia Kiwanians?"

A candidate for state office gets 200 words in the voters guide.
Treasurer Murphy and Sec State candidate Reed, were/are Olympia Kiwanians. Att Gen Gregoire and DSHS Rosemary Carr, were/are Olympia Kiwanis friends.
The Olympia Kiwanis Boys Ranch has cost taxpayers over $35 million (so far), because of the preventable child abuse that occurred there.
How does this happen? I think lawyers, judges, politicians, ect..., write, interpret and enforce the laws for their own benefit, and the sycophant media supports them. Well, duh!!
I have an excessive web site about this at
www.lbloom.net
or search "OKBR".
Now, some voter pandering. I'm pro-military. If D-Day had failed,
it probably would have taken the Russians an extra two or three months to
beat the Germans. I'm pro-family religious
values. Catholic dogma, (divine law), says: outside the church there is
no salvation, all birth
control, except abstinence, is evil, and that having sex for just pleasure,
(whether married or
unmarried), is immoral. Abstinence should
be taught in the schools and PTA.
Biblically challenged television
preachers from Afghanistan to Spokane, predict
that the anti-christ will be an Olympia Kiwanis woman.
It's probably all nonsense. Have a nice day.
Above is Democrat State Treasurer candidate Louis Blooms' proposed September 2000 voters guide statement.
I'm running to amuse some people and irritate others. I'm upset that Olympia Washington Kiwanis members and/or their friends (the political & "cultural" elite of Thurston County), have not been held accountable for their mishandling of the Olympia Kiwanis Boys Ranch. Current State Treasurer Mike Murphy was/is an Olympia Kiwanis member and Secretary of State candidate Sam Reed is a longtime Olympia Kiwanis booster.
Originally I wanted to run with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Natural Law Party, but they wanted me to run for a legislative office instead of a state office. I would have felt a little bad running with them when I didn't totally believe in their program, and I had my own agenda. Running with the Natural Law Party would have probably gotten me 1% of the vote and advancement to the November ballot.
I'd mainly like to see Ralph Munro's friend Sam Reed defeated for Secretary of State. There's no chance of beating incumbent Mike Murphy, (unless he commits a public gross felony before the election), but I'll still get my rant in the voters guide, which is sent to 2.9 million households in Washington State, unless Ralph Munro censors me, (which is possible), because Mr. Munro is a friend of all the Olympia Kiwanians I've mentioned.
I've had my Olympia Kiwanis pages on the web for the last 3 years, and the Olympia Kiwanians have know about it since at least October of 1999.
