Ferry County serves a population of approximately 7,500 citizens. The County is administered by
three elected Commissioners and seven elected officials including: Assessor, Auditor, Clerk,
District Court Judge, Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff and Treasurer. The County operated on a $13
million annual budget in 2005. Its 112 full-time and 42 part-time employees provide an array of
services including: law enforcement, road improvement, judicial services, community health
services and general administration services.
