Okanogan County serves approximately 40,000 citizens. The County is administered by three elected Commissioners and nine independently elected officials: Assessor, Auditor, Clerk, district Court Judges, Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Superior Court Judge and Treasurer. In 2005, the County operated on a $37.8 million budget. The County’s 350 employees provide services including: law enforcement, road improvement, judicial, community health and general administrative services.
