The Port of Bellingham provides an array of services throughout Whatcom County including
aviation, marinas, marine terminals and property management. The Port is administered by an
elected, three-member Board of Commissioners. The Board sets policies and appoints the
Executive Director. In 2006 the Port had annual operating expenses of approximately $18.8
million and employed approximately 89 staff members.
