Ocosta School District No. 172 provides educational services to approximately 700 students in Grays Harbor County. The Superintendent, who reports to a five-member Board of Directors, administers day-to-day operations. Board Members are elected to staggered, four-year terms. The District operated on a $6.1 million annual budget in the 2004-05 school year. The District employs 52 certified employees and 48 classified employees.
